Despite the theological difference and the Romero guy joking about Catholic priests at one point, it's not too bad. What it definitely does is creating awareness - from that standpoint it's good. But they also added alot of scandalous material, which is actually a bad thing. When they were reading the part around Acts 19:15, I thought they'd go on about how you actually need authority to cast out those spirits - which they sadly didn't. A problem I see is with them going about pentecostals. Before you start a flame war, hear me out. It's right, that speaking in tongues (or how they call it) is worrying from my perspective at least, and the spasms these people had in their ecstasis, too. But there's a problem here: If they are not unitarian but Trinitarian pentecostals, then they do exactly what the baptists do as well: Affirm the Trinity, be baptized in Its name (at least I hope so) and acknowledge Christ and everything the baptists do too. And by their own reasoning a guy in which the Holy Spirit dwells cannot be possessed. And yet, they call that practice demonic and satanic. Here's the issue with that: You're Bible only, Jesus says in the Bible that everything can be forgiven except sinning against the Spirit. What if this thing, the whole speaking in tongues, is the actual charism of the Spirit and it is caused through God ? They bypass this fact by saying that this one friend of Romero went there and "phased out" and couldn't remember what she did there after she came to consciousness again. Then the other example with the lady going crazy when he "preached the Gospel" to her husband. That's again anecdotal evidence which cannot be proven at all. I'm not calling Romero a liar, but I say his anecdotal evidence of 2 cases of which one is even hear-say is no firm evidence of speaking in tongues being demonic. Furthermore is legit possession the most extreme form of demonic influence. While it is true that the numbers of possessions have risen, you cannot just attribute possession to anyone that is mentally ill. Because even in cases of non-physically diagnosable diseases, there's chance that we simply weren't able to have found something yet for different reasons. What I'm saying is that Romero runs into danger calling something that might or might not come from God - which we simply cannot know from just seeing a video and one single story that might or might no be true - demonic and works of satan.
That being said, overall it's not a bad movie but it's not entirely good either, because of noted issues (I hope I didn't forget something). But at least it's a starting point to create more awareness - although it would be highly advisable if those people would tone down their language for example with the reprobates etc.. Anyway, I don't want to turn this into denom wars.
God bless
