T. from america. Just probing for general information, on how the general population feels about faith in this region. In america if, i were to say out the the public i believe in god. Have faith etc. That would be pretty norm here. But wondering from ppl hopefully who've been, live in the area what's the area like when it comes to higher powers?

And what are the churches like, how are their beliefs diff from say orthodox, or Catholicism.

I've never been in Scandinavia, but I'd hazard to say that, if they care at all, people would just scoff at you and go on with their day if they heard that you're an actual Christian, or otherwise give some meaningless sign of approval out of fear of reproach while being secretly glad that you're the member of an endangered faith. If you attempt to preach to them they'll resent you.

They're historically protestant.

They are however as atheistic as any northern European country.

Meaning material capitalism is all they seem to care about.

Next to the occasional pagan larpers which I had the misfortune of meeting several times.

Sounds sad, but finding a true believer all the more relaxing then. Cause i looked at some pics of the places, and geographically they look nice. But from what you two are saying, i don't think i'd want to live there caused i'd take my faith with me.

It might be my eurocentrism but I think you cannot find any modern western country very friendly towards the faith.

Settle if you wish anyhow friend and stay strong in the faith, the world might darken but it is in you where the light keeps on shining.
