Angels don't wear anything. But they are depicted and appear in most fitting way. That's why angels are always male, for angels are absolutely active. I've heard story of Angel (and I am pretty sure it was indeed Michael) that saved somone wearing modern military uniform with big rifle in hands.

Technically, angels don't have passions but ignoring that - why would he? He is invincible prince, protector and guardian of Church and Holy Virgin, elevated from second lowest choir to place right before Throne of God. If he is in any mood it's rather smug australian type who just killed emu with his truck.
