So a moment ago I was praying in thanksgiving upon this verse, and I hope this contemplation on Jesus' grace is an encouragement to others:
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. - Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV
Here's a similar verse, which conceptually was on my mind during prayer
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. - Psalm 30:5 KJV
And a forgotten verse was brought to mind:
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness - 1 Thessalonians 5:5 KJV
I just thought it was nice to think on how if God's mercy is new in the morning, and joy comes in the morning, how much more are we walking in grace if we are children of the day covered by the blood of the bright and morning star (rev 2:16) who is the light of the world. We are not of the night constantly in the light of our Lord Jesus of Nazareth's light.
My mind is imploding at the moment trying to comprehend the grace of God.
While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. - Jesus
