I have a friend who had been incredibly sick for years due to a simple to treat and specific issue which in turn caused many biological processes to cascade into things like autoimmune and metabolic dysfunction as secondary issues which then prevent the main problem from being addressed. The problems are obscure and mostly undocumented and thus untreatable aside from the primary issue. Delving through sparse research on the topic and correspondence with doctors and sufferers familiar with the problem he's highly intelligent PhD and quite familiar with research he has gained understanding of the complications which have made him sick for so long which he then is able to get targeted by treatment.
A retired Chiropractor who was the relation of a friend that heard of his problems without any detail or knowledge of them aside from their existence, insisted on giving him a "medical" diagnostic with some machine. Something he still does when retired because he likes helping people and this method is "life changing" so he does it for free for many people even in retirement.
The machine measures the skins electrical resistance across Chakra points and precisely diagnoses illness. Well it did, it diagnosed precisely everything my friend already knew and even specified safe assumptions due to the problems like various organs that were inflamed or dysfunctional in other ways. It rendered this precise, already known information with a method that is utterly incoherent scientifically even in the most broad sense. Years of his fruitful desperation trying to cure himself and maintain his life is instantly eclipsed by alternative, occult medicine for no rational reason. Desperate people like him will fall for this hook line and sinker and become trapped in spiritual bondage like is so observable around occultic medicine. He hasn't submitted to occult medicine yet and is still making progress with conventional medicine due to his efforts he brings to his doctors but I know if he hits a wall in his treatment the idea will nag at him because of sheer desperation.
The company that makes the incoherent machines has occult symbolism and pushes an occult agenda. My conclusion from examining how the machines functionelectronics background is that only way they can work is through demonic obsession. So yeah objects can be demonically obsessed and it's why people are seduced by the occult. It "works" or appears to work, it seems to mostly be manipulation of perception. My friend was given no impression or insight into anything he didn't already know except a sense of bewilderment about the potential of alternative medicine.
