The thing about Nihilism is that's pretty much never been "the solution". In philosophy, it's pretty much always been simply the starting point or "the problem." You'd be hard-pressed to find an influential and consistent Nihilist philosophy. People think Nietzsche was, but he was never resigned to meaningless. Most of the time what people think is Nihilism is just Existentialism.

Christian Existentialism is a thing.

If what you are saying is that without God there is no meaning, then that's okay. Or if you're saying that the absolute freedom of a life without God is misery and by fleeing it and coming to God we escape this misery. Then that's okay, too.

I think being Christian and holding onto Nihilism past that makes no sense.

Nihilism is the belief life is meaningless, purposeless.

God is literally life, truth, and the way. Your purpose is to follow His way.

If you believe there is no purpose, you do not believe in God. If you believe in God, you find therein your purpose.

You could simultaneously believe two contradictory things I suppose- but I think the cognitive dissonance would make you either hate God or your nihilism and once you hate one, you're either Christian or you're a nihilist, not both.
