What does /christian/ think of lesbians? Is there any particular reason why God would give anyone a revulsion towards the gentials of the opposite sex? Is this a call to lifelong celibacy? Bear in mind that it's known that acting upon homosexual desires/impulses/lusts/whatever is already assumed as sin in this line of questioning.

Also, can a woman romantically love another woman and be seen as Godly if neither of them have lustful thoughts or actions towards each other?

>Also, can a woman romantically love another woman and be seen as Godly if neither of them have lustful thoughts or actions towards each other?

I guess so.

It's not actual homosexuality that is frowned upon, but the act of sodomy.

Basically sex must be between a man and a woman inside a mariage.

That's all

I'm heterosexual so this is just me talking out of my butt, but haven't there been studies showing that womens' sexuality is pretty fluid? It seems like having a having preference for women may be able to be changed, so based on what little I know about this subject I don't think it's a hopeless cause. Again I am pretty ignorant about this though. If it's just genital revulsion, most straight women don't actually really like bepis either. If the revulsion is based on past sexual trauma I think that could possibly be changed if the lesbian met a loving male partner she could trust who wouldn't do those things to her.

If it really can't be changed, though, that would mean a lifelong call to celibacy. I have heard homosexuals counsel other homosexuals against chaste romantic relationships because they could cause an occasion of sin.

> talking out of my butt

I got a chuckle out of that given the thread topic. Polite sage for unrelated to the discussion.

No. At the least this is a near occasion of sin you would be putting yourself into.

God made man and woman desire's for each other and that's what he thinks.

>can a woman romantically love another woman and be seen as Godly

>romantically

No, you can have a dearly loved friend as fortunate people do.

No.

Romantic feelings are inseparable from sexual feelings because marriage exists primarily to generate and raise children.

Unless you're a eunuch, a marriage will lead to sexual events.

Also, sexual feelings do not necessarily cause romantic feelings.

It is untamed passion (read: sexual desire) running loose and untamed thanks the to free sex culture the enemies pushed. They confused friendship, brotherhood, and sisterhood with romance and sexual desires.

You can love your neighbour without wanting to do them.

>revulsion towards the gentials of the opposite sex

Revulsion as in hatred, not desired; or indifference. If a women hates men with all her might like a caricature of contemporary feminism and went all lesbian. Then either they fell for the memes, or just wrong in the head (traumatised by men, etc.). If they felt no desire towards men, sex, marriage; then it is a call to celibacy.

>Is there any particular reason why God would give anyone a revulsion towards the gentials of the opposite sex?

We're fallen beings as the result of Adam and Eve's sin. God is not the origin of our imperfections.

>Is this a call to lifelong celibacy?

Sometimes. Other times it can be repaired or worked around in other ways.

>Also, can a woman romantically love another woman and be seen as Godly if neither of them have lustful thoughts or actions towards each other?

There's nothing wrong with close friendships and historically, friendships could be really close without anyone mistaking it for faggotry. That only came when societies started trying to normalize fags. Actual romantic love is another matter, and I'm not convinced it comes separately from sexual desire (barring people who simply don't experience sexual desire, which is rare).

From my understanding, there's no such thing as a lesbian. Yeah, there's some high-T women that like women but by far and large, there's just women that have yet to encounter a real man and be desired by such a man. From what I've heard, it's common for a lot of lesbians to actually seek men out in secrecy. It must be kept secret lest they be cast out from the "sisterhood".

From my understanding, most lesbians are just women who were exploited (usually, even as far as sexually) by inferior men, loathe the idea of settling down with a "secure, financially stable" man (read: Beta). They're not disinterested in men, they're just repulsed by what the average man has become.

I'd make the argument that homoromantism is certainly covered under what paul terms "malakos", at least among men. The natural social structure between males cannot present romantic love without debasing both men in some way.
