I know Occam's Razor is much-abused against Christians, but think about it like this. What's more reasonable and takes less assumptions? You and a bunch of other people misremembered a bunch of (typically) easily-misrememberable things, or some sort of totally inexplicable mechanism is shoving people at random into parallel universes that cannot even be proven to exist?
