Is this mostly correct? The only mistake I can think of is that I labeled Canada as Catholic, when in reality the country has no majority denomination, but Catholic is simply the largest. Same with Lebanon, which could be labeled as Catholic or Sunni as well, but Shia is slightly larger.

0f6073 No.592280

No. Czech are Atheists, Armenia Ethiopia and Eritrea are not Orthodox, Nigeria is Christian, Japan is not Buddhist, its Shinto. And basically you can name every nonchristian country Godless rat anyway.

9830ea No.592284

>>592280

Japan is split between shinto and buddhism, so I think it can stand. Plus I didn't want to make a new section just for one country.

Nigeria is split nearly evenly between muslim and christian, you could label it either way. Ethiopia and Eritrea are for sure Orthodox, although they are Oriental Orthodoxy and again I didn't want to make a new section just for them either, or I'd have to for Eastern Catholics as well.

No, they are Miaphysites and are doctrinally different unlike Catholics and Eastern Catholics

Why are the non-Catholic nations like Germany, Sweden, and the US the ones getting hit hard with heathen immigration, is it something about Catholic doctrine?

a8d36c No.592311

The US is getting a small amount of heathen immigration. We are primarily faced with papist immigration from the South.

Nor necessarily because of the Reformation, just because these people go where the profits are.

I can't speak for any others here, but I despise the teachings of Mohammad and the Muslim religion. But at the very least they hold onto their convictions. Atheists, and others who either say there is no god, or demands that we all just 'Coexists' are spineless, and I hate (Psalm 139:22) the teachings that say that my Lord and Savior, the one who died for me, is equal to their 'god'. >>592372 also below Muslims on the list.

The decline of the Catholic Church in the Netherlands actually started with the Concordat of Worms.

It made Utrecht so weak that the church seat was used as a power struggle between Holland and Gelre.

Thus when the reformation happend the church couldn't put up a decent fight against calvinist mobs.

f38920 No.592508

>>592472

>if anyone confesses that the union took place out of two natures or speaks of the one incarnate nature of God the Word and does not understand those expressions as the holy Fathers have taught, that out of the divine and human natures, when union by hypostasis took place, one Christ was formed; but from these expressions tries to introduce one nature or essence of the Godhead and manhood of Christ; let him be anathema. For in saying that the only-begotten Word was united by hypostasis personally we do not mean that there was a mutual confusion of natures, but rather we understand that the Word was united to the flesh, each nature remaining what it was. Therefore there is one Christ, God and man, of the same essence with the Father as touching his Godhead, and of the same essence with us as touching his manhood. Therefore the Church of God equally rejects and anathematizes those who divide or cut apart or who introduce confusion into the mystery of the divine dispensation of Christ.

- 8th Anathema of 2nd Council of Constantinople

one (mia) nature of the Word of God incarnate (mia physis tou theou logou sesarkōmenē)

I should've worded my post to say that EOs accept miaphysitism.

0f6073 No.592515

>>592508

Stop accusing Orthodox Church on what he does not teach. It is getting heavily annoying.

Asides the fact that the words you highlighted speaks of one incarnatenature, it is a common knowledge, that Eastern Orthodoxy, with rest of the Chalcedonian Christians acknowledges Diophysitism. It doesn't teach Miaphysitism, it never acknowledged Miaphysitism, it just thought, that Miaphysitism, was better, than outright Monophysitism.

Now go back and study the matter instead of posting some bizzare information that spreads fake information.

Is it me, or is this weird, sadistic providence/anti-providence pattern-searching deal pretty much just pagan bullshit?

>Our countries are more resilient!

>Our countries are richer!

>Our countries are doing better!

>Our colonies are doing better!

And of course, when the roles are reversed, you get into weird "Our terrorists are your freedom fighters" type things, where some impoverished guy getting tortured to death is a worthy martyr, while some good church-going gal getting raped and beheaded is some faithless heretic getting her just reward for stubbornly rejecting the OBVIOUS(of course) truth.

I'm glad i read St. Augustine's treaty on the subject, written when the romans were accusing us of the same crap, with the same arguments, paper showing how all this narrative makes no sense, so i can avoid this weird, macroscale version of the prosperity gospel.

Tbh, i think if i was some immortal Wandering Jew type figure, and guided myself off who is more properous and moral, i would have changed my religion 8 times by now.
