The reason is because in the first one, Jack Sparrow was written to be a cool rock star pirate and Depp portrayed him differently from how he was written, but then in all the next movies Jack Sparrow was actually written to be a rambling drunk, and that’s not a compelling character.

Hes clearly there as a decoy, hes there to not be taken seriously, while goku pretends to be on good's side. This is also recycled in Naruto, Yu-gi-oh, Sailor moon, two sides one pretends to be good and the other evil, but both sides have something distinctly evil about them like the use of magic or ancient occultism.

Goku's just a good-natured simpleton who practices martial arts, It's just a fantastical expression of them. How can you really call what he does magical or occultism? If you're going to call everything in fantasy that couldn't happen in real life magic then the crew of the enterprise are wizards and occultists too. From a Christian perspective the world of DB is flawed because it treats polytheistic folk religions as basically true, but explicit occultism or devil worship it is not. Addressing the original question, it's in Goku's character to immediately become a student of Christ, were they to meet.

I didn't call all fiction as magic. Have you ever watched Naruto, Yu-gi-oh, sailor moon? I'm not recommending them, but they use magic themes, DBZ is on face value about Martial arts but it also has certain Satanic themes. Asking a dragon for a wish, traveling to both hell and heaven, becoming possessed by a giant monkey, the concept of focusing/channeling energy.

This is another occultist practice where they house spirits for demon wisdom on power or magic.
