The sad truth is there is no solidarity anymore between christians and even traditionalist except some family-to-family frienship (only solidarity that remain). It won't do anything, we are so much individualistic you will have to make your career, studies alone and the only community you will have will be some discussion after mass, some 1hour activity the week-end you made an inscription for and some friends if your a chad. In some decades french christians (I'm talking about the less than 1% practicing catholics) have became bourgeoise (the other dropping faith). I'm from this kind of family.

First of all, the degeneracy is in yourself, not the society. Society becomes degenerate by people not curbing their own degeneracy and bringing it into the public sphere. Cut out the degeneracy. The escapism and degeneracy of anime/manga and video games is - as I understood the post - your worst problem. Stop it. Generally cut out the internet as much as you can (obviously not when you need it for studies/school/job) and stop visiting chans - when you occasionally come over to make a thread, that's fine - but people tend to waste hours and hours on these for literally nothing. Furthermore quit porn and everything related. Strategy goes as with what I said above regarding anime/manga. With the games - if you play 1h every 3 days, it's obviously not a problem as it is recreatively used rather than to flee reality. So curb the amount you play.

I don't know what more problems you have, but these are always the most rampant with chan autists - and we've either all gone through this are are currently doing so. The most important part is that you shall know, you're not alone.

I know all of this is rather obvious and it seems overwhelming, but with some things you need to be harsh, strict and swiftly - as "lowering the amount gradually" won't help. Video games are a thing that you - provided you have a serious problem there - have to quit 100-0, otherwise you will be resorting back to them. Same with porn. Masturbation sure is bad, too, but the real foundational problem is porn. Quit it asap. Then will you also be able to get masturbation in check.

But most importantly: Pray to God that he might help you. There are matters that praying for is futile or straight out evil and selfish. But getting yourself straight in order to hear and do His will sure is not. And that includes obviously quitting degeneracy and becoming a good Christian. Pray and ask for help - the forgiveness comes when you're on a good way. Ask the Holy Mother for purity. Whenever you feel like porn/wanking, pray 3 Ave Maria's. Regularly read the Holy Scripture. Moreover, leave your basement. Get out there - even if you're neet. Go out for half an hour or more daily, take a walk, when you meet people - greet them no matter if you know them or not - and put a smile on.

You need a prayer routine - as everyone does - in order to make prayer not something "mundane" and something you do as you please. Also go to mass regularly (obviously) and fulfill the obligations of the Church (the 5 rules).

A man (ofc women too) is either the product of his own choices - or the victim of his circumstances. Make conscious decisions - to stop the degeneracy, to dedicate your life to God, to be the man you want to be (and if you have no idea what that should be like, then have a look at Christ or other saints).

PS: As for you doing something "big" or "fool" …. your priest is right - you need to make a huge change there, but fleeing is not the answer. Fleeing just makes sure that once you are somewhere else, you will do the same and encounter the same problems. What you need to do is sculpt yourself as God wants so that He'll be pleased with how you do. Societal change doesn't happen by abandoning it (good example is those MGTOW degenerates - they just make sure to "yolo" and shit on everything else. They can eat some hair.), it happens by startig with yourself and the bringing the change to the public sphere - it's the same with the degeneracy. And if you want to go abroad, that's awesome - but don't do it for the sake of escaping society, because unless you go to the very north of Siberia, you will always encounter the same shit.

Yes it would be good. Do you think I haven't tried to be a good christian lots of time before doing my post ? But the fact is I don't want notably because I have no interest IRL. That's why I need to make something to get out of the study routine I have since my birth.
