agape or charity, means Godly love, because that's the way God loves us. Jesus sacrificed because of charity to us.

It was also a fraternal meal between Christians so their perceived differences vanished in a joyful meeting (greek, jew, slave, etc). That doesn't mean that the greek becomes the jew or the slave becomes free.
