What does /Christian/ think about evolution?
Darwinism is so beautiful and it totally doesn't contradict the original sin and 7 day creation.
Hey its all a metaphor just like how the original sin is a metaphor right?

I was hoping there would be legitimate discussion itt. I think mutations occur, but on a very small scale. Evolutionists also believe this, but they extrapolate these small observable mutations and mistakenly try to create their own cosmology from it. This is when they encounter many problems regarding causation, the main one being when life first comes into being. It is pretty much impossible to have happened as they say, especially to reach this current point in time. I think God creating life is more likely than it being due to some lucky septillion-sided dice rolls.

Why can't it be that God provided the spark of life and life evolved from there?
f2e142 No.580170
>>580166
Though that would solve some of the logical and probability problems, it contradicts the biblical account in Genesis, where God makes organisms individually, including man in His image.
The spark for life would probably be the self-replicating RNA sequence that is speculated to have evolved into life, but there are many more problems, such as how that RNA sequence became a cell, and how that cell became eukaryotic and multicellular, etc. God would have to do much more than just provide a spark, and the God doing it would not be the one in the bible.

Ο ων is the name of God given in Exodus 3:14 in the LXX (εγω ειμι ο ων / אהיה אשר אהיה / I AM HE WHO IS or some variation thereof in English). It is this verse Jesus alludes to to obliquely identify himself as God in John 8:58 (πριν Αβρααμ γενεσθαι, εγω ειμι, before Abraham, I am). So ΟΩΝ is naturally a title reserved for Jesus in iconography.

>What does /Christian/ think about evolution?
Anyone who is thinking will see that evolution is a crock of pseudo-scientific bullshit dispensed at the behest of the pro-satan catholics in response to the protestant reformation. Other bullshit nuggets they provided include heliocentrism and the copernican 'model' of the universe…outer space and all that nonsense.
>Darwinism is so beautiful and it totally doesn't contradict the original sin and 7 day creation.
There's no such thing as "darwinism".
On this topic, I highly recommend reading a short book called "biosingularity" by mason vigil. Free if you have amazon prime, cheap if you don't. Totally opened up my eyes and my mind.

Not really sure what the point of that is, or claiming "magic". God has the power to create and to give life. It's really not that hard to grasp.
What leads you to believe that YOU, the human, are as good as it gets…or maybe "space aliens" seeded us (but who created them)?
The simple fact that all creation has scientifically verifiable structure and order proves it was designed/engineered and created. Believing that everything just randomly became what it is "because long spans of time" is not only ridiculous, it's apex stupid.
Early humans, like Adam and Eve, lived for centuries, and while the initial offspring were a result of incest (Eve gave birth to two twins, 1 boy 1 girl each, who interbred), as they propagated their seed the natural process of ADAPTATION took place at a cellular level and enabled humans to prosper in the various regions of earth.

Darwinism is a lie.
There exists a natural selection that "decides
which genetics go on versus which do not. This is not random chance as Darwinists believe but was carefully guided by God.

No thoughtful Christian has ever held that evolution is contrary to religion.
Religious questions and scientific questions are simply not the same kind of questions. You cannot provide a scientific answer to a religious question, and vice versa. I say: 'man is made in the image of God.' No scientist can prove or disprove this, because it is not a thesis which is subject to scientific investigation.
