Also this. The 'every file is an editable script' scheme is brilliant. To Hell with apt-get source. Most of the algorithms Terry uses are easily viewable by opening the relevant Holy-C files.

In a better world, TempleOS would be some kind of educational resource. Perhaps one day Terry will clean his act up and turn it into that.
