Obviously it would be possible if God willed it.

If he didn't will it there would be a good reason, perhaps there would be a sufficient or greater replacement in heaven. Maybe they'll be resurrected during Christ's reign on the new earth. We don't know yet.

An animal is a eukaryotic, multicellular organism that forms the biological kingdom Animalia. With a few exceptions, animals are motile, heterotrophic, reproduce sexually, and their embryonic development includes a blastula stage. So yes humans are animals, not plants or minerals.

Perhaps, I don’t see why that would be ruled out, but I don’g Think animals have souls to the same degree that we have.

I love my dog very much, but ultimately life belongs to God who has to right to take and give. I hope to see my dog again in the New Earth, but I doubt i’ll see him in the afterlife.
