How does /christian/ feel about immigration and/or refugees especially from Islamic origin?

Most Christians seem to be very pro refugees and often cite the following

33 “‘When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. 34 The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God." leviticus 19 33-34

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in," Matthew 25:35

"You are to allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the foreigners residing among you and who have children. You are to consider them as native-born Israelites; along with you they are to be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel." ezekiel 47:22

but anti-refugee Christians often cite "If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them." 2John 1:10.

who is in the right here?

I hope that genuine refugees get the help that they need, within their own countries. I don't mind the EU funding refugee camps in Syria, Iraq or areas plagued by Boko Haram in Africa.

In my country we already have enough natives that need monetary help from the government.

That's what Protestants do to Middle Eastern Catholics and Orthodox, only offer to help them if they convert to your sects. That's the same approach that the Muslim terrorists use.

Anti-refugees, because being complicit in human trafficking is wrong.

The Bible commands us to be nice to strangers (meaning people who come into our lands).

>Leviticus 19:33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. 34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

I'm sure that George Soros has a shit like pic related with Leviticus 19:33 on it. However, we must consider spirit of the law and letter of the law. If the strangers are part of a calculated plot to eradicate the people of a nation, then the Bible is not commanding that we support that plot. At most, it's saying that we shouldn't inflict terror upon those who are an unwitting part of it.

Side note: Notice how they tell you that the KJV is inaccurate, but instances like this, it actually provides better meaning than newer translations. Contrast with NIV, or NRSV, or something. Sojourn is the right word for verse 33. Not 'reside'. Reside is appropriate for 34. make no mistake about (((who))) is translating your Bible.

Truly these are the end times.

The devil quotes the Bible at Jesus while trying to tempt him. Is it not the same with those who demand we support mass immigration? They are at best theologically liberal Christians and at worst (((unbelievers))) who are quoting the Bible in the hopes of undermining Christianity.

>I thought that Christians loved helping the poor

>i thought that Christians loved dressing in drag

>I thought that Christians were going to be good goyim and do whatever I say.

>i thought that Christians loved dressing in drag

Dude, what? How is that justified?

I mean, yeah we're supposed to help the poor and needy, but drag? That's got to be some serious mental gymnastics.

Immigrants and refugees fleeing hardship/war are alright. Love thy neighbor as you love yourself and so on.

True Christians will support all forms of sexual expression -- especially in church. Haven't you heard that the Apostles were all good Communists (Acts 2)? Jesus came to turn mother against daughter and father against son. So when things like embracing neoatheism and coming out as gay turns your family against you, that means you're following Jesus!

I guess this is what Christ meant when he said "sometimes you just gotta shake the dust off your boots and walk away".

They can be refugees in UN camps in their own countries. We should never allow terror to enter our own nations.

>How does /christian/ feel about immigration

I'm okay with immigration as long as it's limited in numbers and those who come to our Countries are lulled into our cultural and social fabric and are Christians.

>and/or refugees especially from Islamic origin?

They should go to other Muslim Countries or, if they want to stay here, conform to our society and should be thrown out and banned forever if they even think to plot against us.

Indeed, I hate our society, but I want it to be reformed and revived in Christ, not subverted.

Like St. Philip Neri said to the missionaries ready to go to Asia and Africa to help the poor and needy: "Go outside the walls of Rome, and there you'll find your Africa.".

Also…nice to see the usual flinging of insults; I must really be a masochist to always come back here.
