I am Catholic and I don't always agree with him, but he's right on many many things.

I don't know what's wrong with hating the sin and loving the sinner: I suffer from same sex attraction; i'm not gay, I hate gay prides and all the LGBT+ madness (I hated it even before being helped by a priest to return to Christ). if not for God's punishments and then His mercy after I realized how wrong I was, I'd probably now be HIV positive and still believing to be happier in that "world". Sure, we must tell them they are going to Hell if they keep doing that, but also tell them there's a hope; some will refuse that hand, but others can be saved. Pure hatred for a fellow human, no matter how much of a sinner, is worthless (and no, I'm not saying wrath has no place in one's life: even the Christ flipped tables and whipped people, but did so while warning them of their sins, so that they may change their lives).
