Man doesn't exist for God's law, God's law exists for man. You're not supposed to carve yourself up like provolone not because it pisses God off but because God loves you. He's called "Father" because he's like a good father, which you probably lack, loving but strict, only because he wants what is best for you.
Advice is redirect this Satanic urge into something more productive. Cutting I've read, and I had a phase with it too, and this makes sense to me, is about control. Your own body may be the only thing that you feel is under your control so you chop it up to show the world "you can't stop me". Weights or running. It hurts good, it takes aggression to do, it has a physical effect so you can still show the world "this body is mine and I can shred it" and it'll make you swole.
Everybody gonna die. You wait your turn. Stop taking life so seriously. It comes with a death sentence anyway.
