I wanted to point out something so very telling in the Plane Scene and it takes place in the span of a mere 5 seconds. You also need to pay extreme attention to this as it's a detail that Nolan hid very well yet in plain sight. Let me break this down for you piece by piece:

1) [0:15] Dr. Pavel tells CIA it's a trap straight to his face.

2) [0:16] Meiman, hearing Dr. Pavel speak, inches slowly closer before quickly reaching out arm first to grab Dr. Pavel while looking all around awkwardly as if embarrassed of Pavel [0:17 - 0:18], perhaps wanting to get him out of there quick so that he isn't impelled to tell CIA of the plan (Meiman is after all in cahoots with Bane as evidenced and proven time and time again before). [0:18] You can see Meiman tug at Pavel's other arm in a slightly aggressive manner, as if in a hurry. And if you look closely, you can make out Meiman mouthing the words "come on."

3) [0:18] You can see Dr. Pavel struggle not to take his eyes off CIA, even as he's taken away. It's very, very subtle, but a 'microexpression' can be seen take over Pavel's face, one of worry, a plea to CIA.

4) [0:17] CIA's face does not change after Pavel says "They're not my friends." This makes it even MORE telling. It's something that just happens, we often don't change our face when faced with a shock or a surprise, we're left dumbfounded. This is what's happening to CIA, as if the response was not expected or very strange to CIA, or rather Pavel's expression reached CIA on a subconscious emotional level which prompted his response. [0:018] Still in this state, CIA keeps his eyes on Pavel as Pavel keeps his eyes on him.

5) [0:19 - 0:20] Masketta Man catches wind of this exchange and uses the choice words "Don't worry" in order to subconsciously comfort CIA in a maternal way, drawing CIA's attention away from Pavel and any doubt he might have of something being up and draws his attention to something he knew would reach his heart - catching Bane.

This just goes to show that CIA's ultimate figurative and literal downfall is a result of his hubris. As you point out, Doctor Pavel directly warns CIA that he is walking into a trap, but CIA, always supremely confident in his abilities as an agency, still feels that no, that can't be happening, he is in charge here. Mosquitoman takes advantage of this character flaw and reassures CIA, stroking his ego, telling him that these men, though not originally on the flight plan, should be brought on board anyway, so as to be extra feathers in his cap. Bane also realizes CIA's ego is his weakness, a weakness that makes it impossible for him to thwart Bane's master plan, even taunting him by pointing out that he is a big guy for CIA, which again is basically telling CIA that he is not in charge here and has entered a trap. CIA of course completely ignores this and is defeated seconds later. However, even then, as his men are being shot and his plane is being crashed, CIA still literally cannot believe that this is happening, and he goes to his grave still thinking that he is in charge. His overconfidence causes him to ignore a reality that is literally crashing down all around him.

The Dark Knight Rises is ultimately a story about the difference between hubris and confidence. Bane and his men are confident in their ability to succeed, but this does not mean that they are not still extremely careful and observant, taking note of tiny details in order to ensure their master plan is fulfilled. This is what makes them big guys. CIA, on the other hand, has nothing but hubris, becoming so arrogant, feeling so much that he is in charge, that he ignores vital information that is delivered to him point blank. For this, his flight plan fails, and he goes down in history as a small guy.
