Clearly he enjoyed the plane scene, but 15 minutes later he realized that the rest of the movie wasn't living up to it at all, so he lost it.

Besides, the Plane Scene was released six months earlier in front of Mission Impossible 4 in IMAX, so everyone already knew that was good. It was the rest of the movie that was new to people. He must have been very disappointed after waiting six months for the followup to the plane scene.
