Guys, can someone tell me what the hell is going on? This was from a book that was released twenty years ago…Yet it somehow manages to reference Nolan's masterpiece, which was made decades later.

Why is Baneposting the most powerful meme out there? What is it about The Plane Scene that allows references to pop up everywhere, but years in the past?

Did Baneposting retroactively alter history? Or is it simply illuminating a larger pattern to the universe?
