Hey /argentina/, someone told me that Paraguayan posters lurk on this board. I am interested in Paraguayan history, particularly regarding the Paraguayan war in which 70% of the male population died. Why did it occur? I know it has to do with Brazil and Argentina supporting massive interfighting between factions in Uruguay during the Uruguayan War and Paraguay stepping up to help them, but why did Brazil and Argentina want Uruguayan factions to fight with each other in the first place? I'd like the real reasons please, not Wikipedia reasons.
