See, that's an original creation, with a distinct style true to you and only you. There's a level of inherent talent present in that piece of work. Unless you traced an existing image, or followed a directional with step by step brush strokes, then you created something that didn't exist.

That's an incredibly tedious read. All old philosophers are. So much redundancy. Thoughts that could be summed up in a few paragraphs span tomes. At least it's semi worthwhile knowledge I guess.
Book VII is one of the most recognizable of his works and is probably the least of a slog. Book VIII drags on forever but is neat in retrospect. Ironically book X is prevalent to Mugens and my musings on imitative art. I don't really remember the rest in any great detail.

There's science to art. Classical art is fine and all, but a lot of it was purely "talent." That thing we consider an innate ability. In reality, there are things that are pleasing to the human eye, and things that are not. It can be boiled down to neurology, but much like neurology's role in mathematics, some people understand it inherently, some people are required to study it tirelessly, and some people will never understand it. I can only draw on a primal level, but I understand music very well with no traditional training. Even before picking up music theory, I saw music like any form of science; in concretes and quantifiable terms. It's just something I ... "got."
Art is something you get. I believe art theory would be beneficial for you. Not because you're not a good artist, you're leagues better than hundreds I've known, only because you strive to be better and theory is more immediately applicable than attempting to learn by example.

you don't have to just eyeball it.
every pair of parallel lines (parallel in space, not on the picture plane) tend towards a vanishing point (a point) on the horizon. the spacing between the points (denoting the various angles that parallel lines can tend towards) isn't 1:1. it follows trigonometric functions.
when you want to draw a fabric bending upwards at 45 degrees etc. there's an actual pattern to it. you have to aim your lines towards the vanishing point.

you translate thoughts into kinetics every time you move your arm to pick something up. part of it is trusting that your brain knows how to make your hand move without you overthinking it.

started hitting the gym a few months back to work the cardio and recently started changing it and the diet up to try to bulk and I've put on 5 pounds so far but that was weight that I'd already dropped so it's slooow going
my birthday was a few days ago and some of my friends got together and we had a party

i dont really know much about how to do it proper but I eat a super big Bowlmeal® meal
Bowlmeal® is made by whipping up a few eggs, I like 3 up in my bowl with some milk and microwaving til they are big and fluffy, then i make a potato or two, cut them up and put them in, add a meat either chicken or sausage usually and then i get a bit of that on some bread for a sandwhich on the side, yogurt, a fruit, a big glass of whey protein milk and a little bit of dark chocolate every night

I couldn't imagine what it would feel like to actually get up and really perform....
