It's hard to explain but basically my club does lots of different races throughout the year, and one is called a 'handicap race'. In a handicap race, the slowest person (everyone gives their predicted 5km time) will set off, and then the consecutively faster people will start running after, until the 'fastest' person starts running last. So theoretically if everyone gave 100% accurate predicted times, everyone would finish at once.
Anyways I had the 2nd best average placement over the four handicap races in the year.
