You might be better off with something other than Meloxicam to cover the NSAID. I was prescribed that but to me it felt pretty comparative to Diclofenac, which isnt over the counter itself.
I remember I had Celebrex not long after surgery and that was pretty effective.
Resistance to NSAID's builds pretty quick and tends to knock out quite a few of them but if you find the right one it should last.
