Japan was literally the most put together country in the far east, won wars alongside and against European powers, and had colonies on the Korean Peninsula well before even World War 1.
Japan was completely industrialized before even the turn of the millennia.
I'm sorry, but I don't see anywhere that would say that Japan was facing a crisis of extensional proportions in the interwar periods between WW1 or WW2. Seeing as they were part of the Allied Powers during the former they weren't even in the same crisis as Germany did leading into WW2.
They needed resources for waging war and becoming more imperialist than they already were.
Also, sure we embargo'd them. Does that justify their military actions against us in an attempt to cripple our pacific fleet? I mean if you're claiming that our retaliation for Pearl Harbor was not justified than their original attack wasn't justified either.

30% is still horrid. And no, you see the issue is this. You have a kid. You have that kid grow up on welfare. That kid becomes reliant on it. Kid grows up. Stays reliant on government hand-outs and subsidies because the kid hasn't learned the importance of taking care of himself. You aren't teaching anybody on welfare to better their situation. You are merely giving them stuff and saying 'Yeah, you got it bad.'
