I have to have the pick up near the bridge switch on since the i found the one (on my guitar at least) near the neck won't play those pinch harmonics too well. You gotta hit the string in the right place too to get the sound you want. I think my DS-2 was better with harmonics... maybe it was my guitar back then too.
