The whole folder started with keyboard mashing. Then evolved to beginnings based on previous keyboard mashings then keyboard bashing so I could keep some things together.

I guess a better answer to that question would've been why I started with keyboard bashing.

I keep my clipped images in organized folders and then just leave the filename alone and it organizes by date (and therefore chronological order). But even though this is convenient for me sometimes people call me out for being a macfag and it's easier for someone to point me out across threads. So I figured if I was going to go through the trouble of edit something I would change the filename as well, and I didn't have a system in mind when I started so I just button mashed.
