Plus, the Gamecube version is "canon" in that the Wii version has the entire game (minus text) mirrored to make Link right handed for waggle. Not sure which the WiiU "HD" port uses as it's base. Whether or not it's worth playing is another matter; I didn't find it that bad, but it's got a really slow beginning, and incoming damage doesn't scale with progress nearly as well as it should, making it a lot easier than it ought to be. Quarter Heart damage only makes sense at the start of the game and for how Cave of Ordeals is tuned (triple darknut rape squad in close quarters at the end is bad enough without full heart damage), and beyond that the magic armor negates damage at the cost of your wallet.

The basic premise is that a Nip girl gets reincarnated as the villainess in an otome game, and decides to be a "first class villainess" to ensure a happy ending for the rest of the cast. I thought the ending was a bit meh too, but I like the way how it was the best outcome possible for all the characters. I personally would have made the Mitsuhiko x Satsuki OTP thing much clearer but I'm afraid it would also be much cheesier than the way the mangaka did it. And I think he wanted us to consider the flashbacks, including the one that we got to see in full through the main story, as a variant of the "your life flashes before your eyes as you are about to die" thing which was a nice touch.
