It's always been obvious that Togashi was in love with stands since the Chapter Black Arc of Yu Yu Hakusho but now he can't even come up with original abilities anymore. Not only did he introduce Gold Experience in this chapter, he gave one of the bad guys King Crimson (along with King Crimson's sub-ability, Epitaph) less than 5 ago. This is also happening right off Togashi has completely forgotten how manga is a visual medium and is instead just text dumping.

I always considered Hisoka as Togashi's Dio. Sadly nu-JoJos don't have those kinds of villains anymore starting from part 5 the retconned/rebooted Dios don't really count, I guess Araki just started running out of steam by that point. Part 1-4 were mostly great because, among other reasons, Dio was such a great villain.

I expect him to be back early march maybe even late feb if we are lucky. He said he has the over arching story finished. So next year I believe we will have 30 chapters. Trust me! I am trying my best to get the chapters out as soon as possible.

I dont see why you dont believe anon-kun? He more or less has the story finished, so that means he has less work to do where its all going. He did 20 chapters this year. You can therefore expect more chapters next year.
