Shinmai Maou no Testament, by the same author as Hagure Yuusha no Aesthetica also features a no-nonsense hero, though a tad more autistic since it takes him a while to get horny enough to lewd the girls, though at the very least the story goes as far as depict these sex scenes.
Madan no Ou to Vanadis is another one where you can actually see why the girls would be attracted to the protagonist. He might be shit with a sword or spear, but he's a god with a bow, on top of being a pretty good strategist and politician, and fairly attractive. Pity no one competent is translating either this or Shinmai.
Tsuyokute New Saga (also not being actively translated - I'm starting to notice a pattern here) is also good, with the hero traveling back in time in a Dragon-Quest-like fantasy world to prevent the demon lord from winning. It's quite obvious the author put a lot of thought into making the hero behave logically (he has to be one of the rare time travelers that sits down and writes shit down so he won't forget).
Chronicle Legion – The Road of Conquest (also not being actively translated) is another example (this time from the author of Campione!) where the protagonist is both competent and unashamed to be intimate with the heroines.
Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari is another good example of a very competent protagonist, though this one is deep in the autism spectrum and it's only near the end that he figures out he's got the whole female cast hot and bothered after his seed.
I'd argue High School DxD also counts, if only because the protagonist is upfront about his goals, though the author has the bad habit of making the good guys behave like shonentards and never learning from their previous experiences.
