Every trigger show that isn't Little Witch blends together. Akko, Sucy, Lotte, and Diana are all incredibly memorable. Both visually and personality wise, while all the male protagonists from their mecha shows blend together and are genuinely unremarkable.

You're right. I worded it poorly. But what I can tell from their shows that I've watched is that they have absolutely nothing original to say. Little Witch only works because they are ripping off something that hasn't been done in an animated format before, Harry Potter. They essentially made a better version of Harry Potter without all the gay shit Rowling included like le ebil Hitler Wizard bad guy, and just had the comfy atmosphere of a magical school. While all their other shows have completely forgettable settings, generic characters, dumb designs, and good animation. They are good animators, but bad storytellers.

gridman plays so far like a standard "pls buy our toys" show for kids with some love triangle undertones; they haven't really explained the whole existence erasing powers of death-by-kaiju yet but I doubt it has anything to do with advancement of humanity.
