There are a very legit cases of 2deep4u running around. They're exceptionally rare but they do exist.

A movie example I could give is Coherence. It's a movie about a group of friends getting together for a dinner party on a night where a comet's passing close to the Earth. The movie it's self is a decent watch, but the scare factor builds upon your own intelligence. I've told people to watch it and they get zero out of it because they don't have the intellectual depth to explore the ideas presented. They're not even deep ideas, you can understand them all at base value. The movie does a good job of explaining everything so even an idiot will understand the movie. The horror comes from understanding the ramifications of those things. It presents you with a scenario that requires awareness outside of the usual horror movies.

I don't want to spoil the movie because it's a good watch. If you watch it and you have some intelligence behind you I think you will understand where I'm coming from. It's an internal horror that's far larger than anything they can put on screen.

Demo is an obvious choice. Yeah, I know about that one anti-loli video he made, no need to mention that. Outside of that one exception he was absolutely bro-tier and not only that, he was actually funny. He didn't have an ego the size of a mountain either which was probably because he he was just a guy making videos for fun and nothing more, he didn't give a shit about fame, money or being deemed some sort of proffesional analist. This is also why he quit, as kind of explained in that one video where he got drunk; the newcomers to his channel had the wrong expectations of him, they expected him to make a new video every X amount of days as if it was his job because that's what other kiketubers were doing. He was getting sick of it and hoped that if he quit for long enough, they would go away and his channel would be small again but now he is deemed some sort of martyr thus it will never happen. It's his own fault for keeping that twitter and twitch channel though.

Other jewtuber I liked was DXfan but he mainly does videos about videogames now. He used to have a series called "anime I fucking hate" in which he destroyed shows like SAO, Asterisk War and Mirrai Nikki in videos that would last 40-50 minutes by just listing every single retarded detail he could find. He also did a few interesting videos on anime he liked though like Prison School. Amusing guy but again, doesn't seem to do anime videos anymore.

Lastly, there was this guy called Sudostef that used to upload videos mainly about Eva but also about Berserk, Ghost in the Shell and Lain. He deleted his channel all of a sudden though and only a few of his videos were backed up (which you can still find) but sadly most of them are permanently lost now. Real sad because his channel had a similar "vibe" to that of Demo (without him being some sort of rip-off); just a guy with a cat who really liked anime that wanted to make videos about anime without going full kike with a patreon and such.

I might get shit on for this but I used to really like Grarkada. Before he became a unapologetic shill for big companies like Crunchyroll and Funimation and doing box opening videos or whatever, his reviews felt very genuine and he obviously was and still is, someone who genuinely loves anime, he's just a bit of a naive normalfag who thinks he has some sort of obligation to always watch stuff legally. I still rewatch his oldest videos to this day because they kind of make me feel nostlagic for when I first started watching anime and I actually regarded him as an useful for what to watch next.

I wish he would still do his classic style reviews but it seems that just like most jewtubers he has switched to analysis and talking about specific subjects regarding anime instead. He's probably a leftist seeing as he's Canadian and because of him cucking out for (((Funimation))) all the time but he doesn't seem to make any sort of political references in his videos so for that I can respect him.

The issue with anime-related youtubers is most aren't really simple reviewers anymore, they mainly do "analysis" videos which often include them obsessing over a miniscule detail of some shitty seasonal show and then drawing out their thoughts on it to 20 minutes. The worst offender of this is of course Digibro, who regards his videos as art and went as far as to say people don't deserve to comment on his videos. What makes him believe 10-minute videos about his thoughts on anime that he didn't even fucking edit himself (he hired a guy called Davoo for editing who lives with him) is art is beyond me. I guess it's just a case of him having lived so long off that shit from the basement of his parents that he became out of touch with reality. Most of his recent videos aren't even about anime anymore, he prefers to just put himself in front of a camera and talk about DUDE WEED LMAO or how he's been watching another anime that he hates again.

Anyway, it has been noted by other people that the situation with Davoo is a bit disturbing; he gave up his former living situation to live with digi and basically lives his off his good will as there are frequent periods where he mostly makes videos that don't actually require editing. He also at times seems to be "bullied" by him without him being able to defend himself because he can just be kicked out anytime. His whole PCP clique (a podcast group that Digi de facto leads which recently decided to all move to the same city) seems to be equally autistic but the few times I hear or see that Davoo faggot, he comes off as the most autistic of the bunch which says a lot. Sitting there just consuming entertainment, never trying to grow to explore new things just consuming. It's not a good situation to be in, even if you do enjoy it where do you go when you burn out or run out of series to watch? You have nothing else to fall back on. I'm far from a normalfag but I understand the time I spent acting like that was not productive. It made me rot mentally and decay physically. I actually used to like his videos back when they were still about anime. Around a year/two years ago he went full force with the whole cult of personality thing and now his After Dark videos became nothing more than him sitting in front of his camera and drinking beer or talking with his annoying girlfriend and even his main channel videos are more focused on him as a person and less on anything related to anime.
