Now that I finally have a board I'm willing to discuss anime on and that is filled with anons willing to be knowledgeable about it, I can finally attain the answer to a mystery that has confounded me for a long time. Why is it that, though Frank West was a ripoff of the MC of Speed Grapher, who predated him, dressed the same as him and has the same hair color and was also emphasized multiple times as having covered wars and carries a camera everywhere, I'm the only one who's ever seemed to have noticed or acknowledged this? No matter how hard I've looked, I've never found anything about the creator of Frank West so much as acknowledging said MC as an inspiration, or of anyone else on the internet pointing out the connection whatsoever, and it's almost unnerving. Why is this, /animu/?

Mods, he knows! Shut it down!

It's about a war photographer that can't physically get hard unless he's holding a camera that stumbles onto evidence of major politicians all being involved in one of those jewish satanic sex pedo clubs you hear about nowadays and when he sneaks in undercover he gets kissed by their mutant loli goddess and so he uses his new power of being able to blow up whatever he takes a picture of to rescue the loli and protect her from the other pedos that got kissed by her and have thus attained other powers of their own based on what their deep dark desire was while trying not to turn blind from using his new power too much which I suppose might have also been a metaphor for masturbation.

It was alright, I guess.

What the fuck?

Picked up.

>dressed the same as him

It's a suit, a very common outfit for when you want to show that a character is a normal but somewhat professional adult man.

>same hair color

Ok, but black hair is easily the standard when it comes to Japanese fictional characters unless it's a setting with neon hairs (which as far as I can tell, neither of these two are). Black hair is just the default in nip media, especially for men since their hair isn't as much of a focus as for women. It's no surprise when essentially all nips have black hair.

The appearance similarities honestly just seem like like a coincidence as it's very much a default, working man look. Maybe he was an inspiration, but I'd be willing to assume that it's a coincidence.

That's some YMCA shit right there.

>look it up

>it's real

What the fuck, why have I never heard of this show before?

 No.3582

>>3581

Because only boards like /a/ were available for discussion before, which focused on current trends. Now that we have /animu/, we can reach into the past to find hidden gems like this for one another and create new OC based on them.

>>3578

>purposely ignoring the "I've covered wars, you know" similarity

Yeah, nice try Shlomo.

 No.3587

>>3582

I clearly specified the appearance similarities because they're very much a default for working adult men, or at least was. I didn't argue against any of the other points.

Did you enjoy it?

 No.3601

>>3581

You haven't? It's on the classic /a/ recommends list that been around since we were all on 4chan. It's pretty good. Animation is pretty low quality but it ends up being carried by the story.

Ayy, sick writeup man. I'll be putting that badboy on my backlog as well.

Yeah, it was a nice father-daughteru thing.

I somehow don't remember that actually being confirmed as a mutual thing. I thought gunslut just mistook her as trying to steal him away from her.

>>3719

I don't know why I don't remember that. Anyway, now that I've made this thread and actually convinced people other than me to watch this show, I'll probably be rewatching it with you all, so hopefully I remember it this time.

There were some good 2000s anime lost to time I'm glad some people remembered SG.

As >>3601 says it's on at least one, probably multiple, recommendation images for anime. That said, I get the feeling that it, like a lot of other great shows, it simply hasn't had much prompt for active discussion in a long time.
