All of the big entry-tier anime adaptations have been in the works for years - GITS, Akira, Bebop, Gunm, Death Note. I assume they started churning them out now because kikes think that chinese cartoons are just like capeshit, so now is the time. Also, female protagonists are very common in anime and they no doubt want to capitalize on the stronk independent wommyn fad.
>What I do fear is that this is one of serveral tactics by the (((western industry))) to change anime to be more leftist like they have already done with videogames and comics
They pozzed all the western shit, but Japanese media is doing fine. Japs really don't give a flying fuck about the PC west, being a 100% patriarchal society and all. Just recently some soyboy burger developer was complaining about Japanese games being misogynistic. God bless Nippon.
As for (((Kikeflix))), I am also troubled by what kind of product they are going to produce and how much of an influence they are going to have over the development process. At best, they'll just throw some cash at Madhouse to remake some classic anime, at worst, they'll demand some progressive changes. Another thing to consider is general burgerization, like 3D Saint Seiya they announced. 3D is a very small niche that isn't particularly popular in japan, so I don't see this as anything but an appeal to the burger market. I instantly think of that recent Voltron cringe. It wouldn't be anything all too new though, japs animated most of the western shit during the 80s, so it's not like it's gonna have any influence on the native anime.
