Japan needs to step its shit up and pick up this idea
Kappa Mikey (while largely mediocre) was really interesting in concept. Its a fish out of water story taken to its logical conclusion when the main character is from a diferent medium all together from his counterparts.
Have fucking studio I.G. or Bones make a badass stereotypical shounen/slice of life anime with main character being a Phillip Fry or an anthropomorphic Spongebob type character slapped rigt in the middle of it.
