fuck totallytransformed.
She amassed enough subscribers to do a patreon successfully through posting free content to the tumblr acc.
Once her patreon became successful, she pretty much stopped that.
Her last post to her tumblr that wasn't a q&a was in June. She doesn't post free content anymore, and she censors anyone who tries to call her out on this (i've sent quite a few asks before, all have never been answered).
I definitely get why patreon is great. By all means, she should be using it. But she completely fucks over her fanbase by refusing to post any content to her non-premium accounts.
I'm subscribed to PrincessPottypants, Parker Longabaugh, and PieceOfSoap.
Every single one of these creators, and pretty much every other one I've seen, posts their patreon content for free to non-paying consumers, but at a delay. They have very high quality content, and share it with those who may not have the cash to pledge right now.
That's a great business model, and it'll incentivize consumers to buy into your patreon if they haven't already done so, at a later date if they want to.
I was originally one of her patrons. I stopped all payments and discontinued my pledge because she put out almost 0 content in the first few months I was pledged, (I understand she has a job teaching, but she also is being paid for something she doesn't deliver on,) but (iirc) she put out no content during the month of June (2017, I think). None.
>To sum that one up:
Did she bill patrons? Yes
Did she deliver content? No.
If you look at her Patreon, you'll see that her last post was July 31st.
That's like 4 and a half months of no content, yet she still has 49 patrons, earning her $257/month.
She's posted a comment (i think she did, can't really expect much at this point) on her Tumblr about the lack of content.
But again, as said above:
>To sum that one up:
Did she bill patrons? Yes
Did she deliver content? No.
What you see when you go on TotallyTransformed's tumblr? Ask posts.
Despite her bio saying she does captions, ask posts are all that remain consistent.
Look in the archive? All the content back until June is either ask posts or shilling her patreon.
>This is not how you run a successful patreon, or a business in general, but they must not teach that at the school where she works.
---
Her subreddit is interesting, as she seemed to have posted a free caption there to start it off. I almost thought she forgot how to post free content.
I'm going to be making a comment on her stickied thread soon after writing this.

Let's see if she deletes it. I'm betting she will.
