And I'll explain why. It's a reflection of what is happening in our society as a whole, where things break down from honest feelings to utility benefit. The kink communities are microcosms of this, where you once went from people who honestly like the kink and love each other to people, primarily women, abusing it for personal gain without actually giving into it or helping to foster it. I may be bi, but it is disheartening when half the people I am attracted to end up falling into this.
To help explain why I have this problem, let's look at another community. The gaming community. I am not really a gamer, but I understand the issue with "girl gamers." And by doing so, they take up a slot in meetups and communities and help make it difficult for others who would actually love to take part to join in. Honestly what bothers me more than the fact that there's a huge gender disparity in the AB/DL community is the fact that so many men are willing to pay large sums honest-to-god money to those whores on Tumblr or Patreon.
