No.919491
Space Dandy's unlucky, undandy cousin fights the space mafia trannies, while he tries to go on a vacation to space Japan.
Finally a good anime, took long enough.
No.919496
Writer's Kanesugi Hiroko, seems to be his first original anime, but the director is Takamatsu Shinji, directed Nichibros, Gintama, Ixion Saga, Nanbaka, Sakamoto Desu ga? and School Rumble, among others.
No.919504
That was really fun. Lost my shit when the music started playing.
>they're not going to do what I think they are, are they?
>oh boy they are
A lot happened in an episode too. It felt almost twice its length.
>>919496
>Nichibros, Gintama, Ixion Saga, Nanbaka, Sakamoto Desu ga?
Nice. Though I am seeing the Nanbaka in this, and not in a good way. I just hope MC doesn't overcome his misfortune from trying to fuck women in the way I'm thinking of.

Surprised nobody reported your comment yet. Joking aside. What exactly is the purpose of your comment? Because this season is not particularly putting anime as a whole in a positive light.
>>919491
For an anime with a character constantly spouting how unpredictable things are, the mecha, mascot and over-all characters felt rather predictable to me. I'll give it some more episodes but I wouldn't call this show unpredictable.
No.919657
I liked it. The main duo seem like a good combination of characters and it was pretty funny at times. I'm onboard for the goofy adventure ahead.

Episode 2 was pretty fun, the series is basically a variant of Yatterman. It cleanses my soul to watch some harmless show that an actual kid would like.
It's incredible how western weebs have degenerated so much, that they can't stand to watch alpha male MCs.

Like >>921501 said, if the second episode is more indicative of the whole show than the first one was, this is going to be more of a Time Bokan Series sort of premise, with a main duo + support bot going on episodic adventures all while being chased by a main baddie trio. The only thing it shares with Space Dandy is being about a dandy loser in space.

The new episode is entertaining, but as a whole the production is less enthusiastic and carefree than it should be. Like the artists are manufacturing something they don't really have much fun with.

Appreciated. Given that the enemy trio isn't a returning foe, maybe this is really inspired to GE999 rather than Yatterman.

Disappointing. Worse than Space Dandy. Outside of a few episodes like the Octupus one (before the human reveal), Otaku planet, Robot planet, and Flower Disney episodes, the rest of the episodes were subpar. Eel episode was decent and some references to previous animes they worked on were nice but it wasn't enough. Could've done better on the disillusionment of traveling and commercialism, instead of being a half-assed version of a Japanese tour but with planets. It just fell really short of what it could've been.
No.936129
>Robby is a scumbag without a heart of gold

Bad end. Overall impression: It was okay I guess. Probably wouldn't ever watch again or recommend to anyone unless they were unabashedly gay, not sure if even fujos would be into this since they weren't exactly the romanticised type of homosexuals. Odd to see this anime of all things get a full version of the opening song for the final credits.
