Why is :Re so garbage? I'm 5 chapters in and after finishing the first series there's an obvious dip in quality. I don't feel the same "gritty" feeling the first series had, and the new main characters seems so boring and cliche.

Ida wanted a happy ending. The best part was it sent the fanbase off the edge and eternally cucked the tumblrtards.

That said if you were into Tokyo Ghoul for the "Edginess" you were into it for the wrong reason like they were.

I wasn't in it for the edge, it's just the series has a completely different feel than the first one, I don't really know how else to explain it, it just doesn't feel "right".
