I'll be streaming a Gaki no Tsukai No Laughing Batsu Game today from 5PM to 10PM PST.

For those who don't know, Gaki no Tsukai is a popular comedy variety show and the No Laughing Batsu Game series has become a New Years staple in Japan.

The No Laughing series is a long program wherein the 5 members of the show are forced into various comedic situations during a 24 hour period and must not laugh. Whenever they do, they are hit across the ass.

The one I'll be streaming is American Police, which aired during the 2017/2018 New Year. It's 5 hours long.

To make it fun, we'll have a drinking game to go along with it. Here are the rules:

<Choose between the 5 comedians.

<Whenever your chosen comedian is OUT, take a drink.

<Whenever there is a Thai Kick, everyone drinks.

Simple, right? The five comedians are:

<Hamada (Downtown)

<Matsumoto (Downtown)

<Tanaka (Cocorico)

<Endo (Cocorico)

<Hosei (Former Yamazaki, Rakugoka)

From what I remember, there's a hit counter in some of the batsu games which has gone over 300 before. Of course they don't show every single one, but it's still a quite lot.
