Accurate analysis. The best part about Tomo is the threads to be honest. Gotta say though, the formula in FutaMon is already starting to feel pretty stale after 25 chapters.

Can't really agree with that. I think the setup works better in this case. The possible romance is important too but it's more comedy focused than Tomo ever was. The jokes also works better, to me at least. For now, I don't mind if it keeps going like that.
