I have to agree that until this final arc with Hitomi there was not a lot to get invested in. However, I still think it was an okay ending. Bittersweet. Both characters helped each other to grow as people. It was a bit half-baked but I actually cared at least a little bit, unlike say the dramatic moments in bunny senpai which fell completely flat. There was a lot of the rest of the show to sit through to get to that point, but at least it was comfy.

Yeah, headsets are usually designed so that glasses fit in them. And through Virtual Desktop you can do basically anything in VR, the main limitation you'll run into is resolution or ghosting. Most headsets nowadays have resolution around 1080, 1200, that's nowhere near enough for reading text or doing intricate things, but 4k and above it starts becoming feasible. 8k will be the "good enough" tier of VR headsets.
For anime and videos in general, it's more about FOV. You either scale the video down and you can see the whole picture as you would on your LCD, in approximately the same (perceived) size and potentially pixelated if you have a low-res HMD, or you blow it up and the scene effectively envelops your vision, but this makes the small 90 degree FOV obvious for one, and for two it sucks for close-ups of characters' faces. This last episode was one of the worse ones, with a lot of closeup shots. The best looking scenes were ones like the third pic here >>889648 and the colorful fantasy worlds. Sometimes the way they used lights and blur gave a good illusion of 3D.

Just watched the last ep and didn't really think about that at all. I just assumed it was Yuito, however, she does say to Kohaku at the end, "I want to see my Mother". Then later she say's that her Father said it's ok to stay the night at Kohaku's. Her colour blindness and depression make sense if the reason is that her Mother passed when she was little.
