We already know MC had a run in with Truck-kun. The courtesan Yugiri was obviously beheaded (probably for being a slut). Saki probably died from a bike crash, though she does have a lot of scars on her wrists (suicide?). Heart-chan Lily likely died from just that. Poor girl probably had some heart condition. That only leaves Junko, Ai and Tae with nothing noticeable that would suggest their deaths. Though I am quite curious about Ai's bandages. Particularly her jaw.
Also I'd point out that Junko's patchwork skin implies these girls are more a Frankenstein's monster type deal than regular zombies. That probably means they can't infect anyone with bites and stuff. So you can hold hands with them as much as you want.

I feel that the first episode's performance was better handled than the second's. Screaming and attacking people are more natural zombie things, and the head banging was at least a rather mindless action (though why they all start doing it in sync is a good question). In the second episode, they start rapping, or whatever term people use for that "music" style, for no particular reason. During the first episode I was expecting the show to be about how Okabe's voice actor manages to get mindless zombies to somehow put on various musical performances, rather than main girl gaining the appropriate skills for the music style of the week.

OK, so... I'm a bit disappointed in this one (ep. 3). I don't really know why but I'll try to explain it. It felt like not much happened; the CGI was crap as was expected but I didn't really get the parody vibe from it unfortunately; Kotaro didn't really have much of a role compared to the earlier episodes; music and dancing were pretty damn lame. The beginning had me chuckling but I don't think the girls can stand on their own without Kotaro. I guess overall it was taking itself a bit too seriously, a bit too idol-ish... Maybe you guys felt differently though.
Also, is it just me or were Yugiri's proportions kind of messed up this time around? Especially in the CGI scene I couldn't stop looking at her, it just looked so odd.

It's a wacky situation but playing it straight could be done well if the execution is good, and I think this episode was executed well enough if you ignore the CG. And while I do enjoy Kotaro every time he's on screen, I like each of the girls quite a bit too, and I thought this episode did a good job of not having a single one hog the spotlight. I would say it was probably the weakest episode so far, but I like other idol anime too so I don't mind if it just keeps playing the idol anime with a wack premise card.

It only took two episodes for them to turn the show into another completely unironic show about how idols are the best thing ever and only exist to make people happy. Is Yugiri's zombie surgery skill growing zombie tits if she starts a group dance routine? She had a wonderful pair of Jug-iris during the dance. I like her, dunno why she isn't a bit more popular here, but it's understandable when you have other characters that steal the spotlight.
