I remember an anon posted this .webm, the japanese go all-out on some of their pranks.

What the fuck. I laughed but I have no idea what happened besides a joke that didn't go as they intended.

I remember that episode. From what I remember, it was longer than just this segment. They bullied him all day while he was trying to do his best doing the show his way for the first time.

Tanaka is known to be the weak, crybaby type. Hamada, the one who yells at him, is his Senpai (Which is a huge deal in the industry) and a top-class tsukkomi, which means he usually does stuff like that for comedy's sake. He can get really scary. He's also super popular and the partner to the bald guy, Matsumoto, you see a lot of. They are the dai senpai of the comedy world.

It's pretty mild compared to the time they made Tanaka think he was about to be murdered on stage. It's a travesty that nobody's subbed this video, but I think you can figure out what's going on from the context. They've done some pretty mean pranks but this one takes the cake.

I wish there were more Tokyo Encounter subbed.

I recently watched a few episodes of Suberanai hanashi, I found only 1-4 and 7 subbed but watched up to 5. It's hard to understand shit with them talking so casually though. It was pretty funny other than 3DPD stories. I also found 4 Touhou doujins parodying it.

I wish there was more like this, but otaku don't really get celebrated on TV because the normalfags thinks it's boring.

downtown batsu game where they go back in time, not gonna look for it but the "back in time" part wasn't the main focus so the theme is actually something else. Yes it was endo.
No.865049

I remember the section you're talking about and I don't remember Endo being remarried at that point. I thought it was just Chiaki and his parents sitting behind him while they uncovered him texting girls and being a scoundrel.

I think he was in a long term relationship at that point; they mention it in the batsu game the year before (the Airport one). She did eventually made an appearance in the Scientist batsu game, I think. I can't remember if they were engaged or married or neither at that point, but I remember it being part of the gag.
>>865053
It was just his ex-wife, his parents, his brother, and later another girl he worked with made an appearance. Maybe you're mixing up that woman with his wife.

The Gaki subbing community is terrible when it comes to permanent archival. Most of them upload to Dailymotion and/or Mega and call it a day. Youtube is fucking useless and will probably delete your video instantly unless it's a terrible quality remux.
That being said, I did find the clip on Dailymotion pretty easily.

Gaki made a controversy recently because Hamada called another talent having love live goods in his bag "Creepy, what are you doing after 20". Fans of lovelive flamed him on Twitter.
I never liked him anyways, Housei and Tanaka are the only decent ones out of five, Matsumoto is likeable but still a little bit degenerate.
Hamada is just a douchebag, someone who teabags and pretends to rape a singer as a sketch doesn't have the right to call otaku creepy. He also apparently stole shit in his youth. No dignity.
Though I agree with some Japanese that otaku shouldn't be offended and give a fuck about being called a creep by normalfags at this point. And of course it being too normalized would be harmful. It's mostly young people who get offended so much that they'd go so far as to expect an apology.

Fair enough.
I remember when Gaki did the nigger make up for Hamada during the last batsu game, a nigger in Japan started going off on them for being "racist" and how they should cast a black person instead of doing blackface if they needed a black person. Needless to say, he completely missed the joke.
This is why western comedy has been degraded so much.
