Nothing. The point of the story was about growing up and moving beyond delusions and angst. Accepting that you had made mistakes and working to redeem yourself. Its a great story.

What you describe as "turning to shit" is the final stages of the story: he fell, and admitted wrong, then started working his way back as an honest student.

The story wrapped up pretty nicely. He owned up to his actions and perceived vigilantism. He got out from under crazy bitch's thumb. It's all about him growing out of being a teenage edgy fag (who is enjoyable to read about, dont get me wrong) and a bitch of sorts, into a better person. He made his bed, got fucked in it, and came out on the other side ok. Really touching story overall.

Just go back and reread all the parts about the crazy cunt, and see if you can pick up the messages that the manga was trying to send.

What OP described as "shit" was probably the fact that the tone turns from the usual safe slice of life to hard to bare uncomfortable. That was the whole point of course, the MC made a hard decision choosing maturing over self preservation, it`s very counter intuitive on a human instinct level and not at all what people would pick, even more so for the type of audience that reads this stuff.

It would've been a pretty shit manga if the entire story was just "angsty edgelord cums on people's things".

Also, broccoli did nothing wrong. MC was a retard for not asking that girl out first. At least in the end he learned from his mistakes and got the superior tsundere delinquent girl.
