Theres no conscious trick as far as I know. The one with Msyu was POV 2D kind of like the glaring pantsu anime and one room except I had a voice and spoke in Japanese (but understood it with subtitles). Its probably closest to the experience you would get with a VR headset, headphones, and a microphone. Msyu was 2D no matter which angle you looked at her from unlike many game models. The lewd part was holding hands and staring into each others eyes in the missionary position.
Recently I had another dream where I became close friends with Shuuka from Pripara and did friend things like shopping and eating at a cafe.
