I am a big fan of Hirano. Aesthetically, he is definitely one of my favorites. His characters always look amazing, and he can make even the most brutal shit in the world look more attractive than it should. I read Drifters, even though Hirano is painfully slow, and I expect it to surpass Hellsing, since I like it so much conceptually. There is a lot more going on. Hellsing was actually much simpler.

Amazing opening. It remember downloading it in the early 2000s, from some website that I found on AltaVista or whatever at some point, and I quickly got addicted to it. Then again, the entire soundtrack is awesome and the old Hellsing anime is really underrated. If people want to watch Hellsing, they should watch both versions. Really, if there is an old version of something, go back to it. It's almost always worth it. The fact that it's different just makes it better, because it's more Hellsing, but different.
