Conception 2 was so damn dull, it was the most generic JRPG Dungeon crawl story without the good gameplay Dungeon crawlers have, instead its everything bad about the persona games mixed with really dull combat.

What the hell is this even getting an anime for?

That's the strange part, why even make the anime at this point? Are they planning a remake or re-release of a rather mediocre game that basically died as soon as it came out?

Its so dull they decided to make an anime from the franchise. The intention is probably to monetize waifu wars. If it does well then make a third game. Its not unusual for a series that started good then went down hill to get some kind of refresh/remake from someone looking to make a quick yen. If the respin is a winner then milk the money cow if not, cut your losses and move on.

I know this is going to be terrible, but I have to watch it to see just how awful it gets.
