Brown is usually the worst hair color because of how dull and generic it is. Although, some girls can make brown hair look great, but it's rare. Somehow, top tier girls can make something that usually is boring into something that stands out in a great way.

Humanity didn't want the war to end because the Church used the threat of demons to maintain control over humanity. All of the attrosities attributed to Maou were the Church massacring human villages to blame on the Demons forcing the war Maou tried to stop into continuing. Maou thought the only way he could stop the bloodshed was to conquer humanity and force an end to all conflicts which his own demons tried to undermine and humanity struggled against. Her tsunshit was entirely unjustified because her father was murdered by the Church to make her easier to manipulate.

No, the show was only good when it was funny because the drama was usually bad. I also have a feeling that much of the comedy wouldn't work that well in a text based medium. And of course, Nip writing is generally really, really bad and especially so when it comes to LNs, so I tend to avoid them.
